Virtual Parent Coaching

One-on-one behavioral coaching delivered by video, built around the situations that are actually hard in your home — so support fits around your week instead of competing with it.

Who it’s for

When You Want to Learn the Skills Yourself

Coaching is the right fit when the concern isn’t a one-off question but a pattern you keep running into — and when you’d rather build your own ability to handle it than depend on someone else being in the room.

It tends to suit families who:

What you learn

The Skills Coaching Builds

Coaching is conversational, not a lecture series. Most of the value comes from working through your specific situations.

Read what’s driving behavior

Spot the pattern: what tends to come before a behavior, what happens after, and what it’s accomplishing for your child.

Prevent rather than react

Adjust the conditions that make challenging behavior likely, so you spend far less time managing it after the fact.

Reinforce what you want more of

Use reinforcement specifically and well — the part most advice gets vague about and most plans get wrong.

Teach replacement skills

Give your child something more effective to do instead, matched to their current communication and developmental level.

Respond consistently

Know in advance what you’ll do, so your response doesn’t depend on how much patience the day has left you.

Track progress without a second job

Simple, sustainable ways to tell whether something is working — and to adjust when it isn’t.

How it works

What a Coaching Relationship Looks Like

01

Free consultation

Thirty minutes to describe what’s happening and decide together whether coaching is the right fit.
02

Information gathering

Interviews about routines, patterns and history. Where useful and comfortable, some observation of the routine in question.
03

Between sessions

You try the strategies in real life. That’s where the learning actually happens — and where the useful problems surface.
04

Review and adjust

We look at what worked, troubleshoot what didn’t, and change the plan as your child develops.

Sessions happen over secure video. All you need is a device with a camera and a reasonably quiet half hour. Sessions can be scheduled around school, work and naps — that flexibility is much of the point.

Questions

About Virtual Coaching

Usually not, and often it’s better if they aren’t — it lets you speak freely. There are times when watching a routine unfold is genuinely useful, and we’ll arrange that deliberately rather than by default.

Yes, and it’s encouraged. Consistency across caregivers is one of the strongest predictors of whether a plan works. Grandparents, co-parents and other regular caregivers are welcome too.

It depends on the concern and how many there are. Some families get what they need in a handful of sessions; others prefer ongoing support through a longer stretch. There’s no minimum commitment, and we’ll discuss a realistic shape during the consultation.

For parent coaching specifically, virtual works well — the substance is a conversation about your family, and that translates fully to video. Where in-person has an edge is live modeling inside a routine, which is what in-person coaching is for where it’s available.
